Hi James!
The Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob # 331-TPSI-007 will have the follow measurements (keep in mind both of these are the face of the panel:
height: 1.58" (40 mm)
width: 0.88" (22 mm)
I do want to also mention that this is for a pretty specific year and model range of Toyota, so if that's not what you currently have, you may be more interested in the Universal Mounting Panel # Universal Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-001. This measures 1.5" in height and 1" in width. The part that would snap into the dash also measures 15/16" (see included image). The instructions for this panel do say to drill a 1" hole in the dash to mount it, but I strongly recommend going with more of a 7/8" hole if you end up going in this direction.
On that note, what vehicle are you wanting this for and where are you wanting to mount it?

The vehicle is an airstream atlas 2024 which is built on a Mercedes Sprinter 3500 probably a 2023. There are numerous dummy panels that can be removed and replaced with one of the mounting panels rather than drilling a hole in my dash but the dummy removed measures 1 1/4 x 3/4. The 1 1/4 is perfect but the 3/4 is a problem if the mounting panels are 7/8. If that’s my only option I can remove two dummy panels and fabricate a plate to cover the opening. However, if there is a panel that will fit into a 3/4 width opening I would prefer to go in that direction. Thanks for the help, Jim
