Are these pre-greased bearings greased with bearing grease or general purpose grease?

Hey Ken, thanks for reaching out. The TruRyde Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # TRU28AV uses a standard lithium-complex wheel bearing grease. If you ever need to repack them, just make sure you use a similar lithium-complex grease. It doesn't have to be the same color, it just has to be lithium based.

What kind of trailer will you be using the hubs on?

I reached out to CE Smith and found that they use Kendal grease on the CE Smith Trailer Hub Assembly #CE13511. The grease color they use is the red grease like #L11390, although they did say it is possible it may be tan but it is the same thing.
