Info Needed to Pick Out Replacement Leaf Springs for Trailer

Question:

Hey Derek here I’m looking at redoing my suspension on my trailer I have found everything I need from y’all I’m looking at leaf springs now and trying to figure out what length spring I need The trailer is a 2009 carry on 16ft the double axle. The axle is 3500lb with a diameter of 2 3/8 the equalizer total length is 7 3/4 center the bottom holes Trying to figure out the correct length for the leaf springs so can order some google ai is saying 25.25 when I measure them with just the trailer weight from center to center of the eye I get roughly close to 26in I believe the axle centering for center of the hub to center of the hub is 33.5 or 33 I can’t remember

Hey Derek, thanks for getting us the length of your springs. When picking out a replacement leaf spring you want to go with one that is slightly shorter in length than what you have now without the weight of the trailer on it. So based on that the correct length from a new spring would be 25-1/4 inch like the part # DX23CR.
