Yes, the 6 Ton Power Mountain Tallboy Off-Road Jack # PM34FR will work well for a Chevy 2500HD. It has plenty of lifting capacity for a 2500HD truck and is designed for lifted/off-road vehicles.
I always suggest you verify the jack’s minimum and maximum lift heights match your truck’s frame or axle lift points.
Will you use the jack for anything other than the 2500HD?

I’ve used to lift my own GMC Safari 3500 AT4. The jack had no problem making th lift.
