Question:
My little camper has the 3-bolt jack mount on the tongue, and I’m debating between an electric jack or one I can run with my drill. I already carry a drill for my stabilizers. Which way would you go?

Hey Karen! If you already carry a drill, the etrailer Manual Sidewind Trailer Jack w/SnapPad and Drill Adapter # e38AV is a nice middle ground between a basic hand crank and a wired electric jack.
It fits the standard 3" on-center A-frame bolt pattern, has a 2,000 lb capacity, and gives you 14" of lift. You can run it with the included 3/4" socket and a non-impact drill, but you still have the manual sidewind handle as a backup. The included SnapPad is also helpful at campsites since it gives you a wider base than the standard round foot alone.
If you happen to have a 7-way plug on your vehicle, another easy option is the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack w/ 7-Way and SnapPad # e22QV, which powers directly from the vehicle’s 7-way instead of needing to be hardwired to a trailer battery. I personally would go with the 7-way powered option IF you have a 7 way already. If not, I think the first option # e38AV is better.
Karen, what camper are you putting this on?
