Question:
We do a lot of spring and fall camping, and I saw these ductless Coleman units can use a heat strip. Is that actually worth adding, and will it work with the ductless systems?

Hey Cheryl! Yes - if you want a little extra warmth for cool mornings, the optional heat strip # CM96RR is worth looking at with the ductless Coleman systems like # CM58RR, # CM68RR, # CM93RR, and # CM88RR.
The big thing is just having the right expectation. It’s great for taking the chill off, but I would not treat it like a full furnace replacement. For a lot of spring and fall campers, though, that’s exactly the kind of extra heat they want. Cheryl, if you want, tell me what camper you have and how cold those shoulder-season trips usually get, and I can help you decide if adding # CM96RR is worth it.
