What is Difference between PowerMax 310 and Dometic 410 Toilet

Updated 06/09/2026 | Published 05/05/2026

Question:

So what are the main differences between this toilet and the Dometic 410? Also do they make a solid, slow close seat for either of them? Of so, what are the part numbers, I do not like the plastic seats. Thanks!

Hey Matt, the Power 310 part # PM42VR is the same as a Dometic 310 but the Dometic 410 # DMC44JF is considered to be a higher end nicer toilet by offering a deeper bowl, a taller 18-inch seating height, and a, elongated, "space-saving" profile compared to the standard height 310.

The part # DMC44JF actually comes with a slow close lid as well as a porcelain seat.

Are the 410 toilet seats proprietary or can I get one from a big box store?

@MattD we've heard it's possible to fit a residential seat on a 410 but it comes down to matching the size and shape. Might take the 410 seat in with you and see if you can find one that matches that way.

@JamesonC do you have the measurements from the bolt holes in the base where it mounts to the ground to the front edge of the bowl. I’m trying to figure out how much space this takes compared to what I have now.

@MattD It would be 10 inches from the mounting bolts to forward most point on the toilet.
