What Does Right Hand Thread Mean for Trailer Lug Nuts

Question:
What does it mean right hand all my lugs tighten clock wise.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Right hand thread means that they tighten turning clockwise like what you have. Older vehicles and trailers used to put left hand threaded lugs on one side of the trailer and right hand on the other.
The thinking back then was that they all had to tighten a certain direction relative to the rotation of the wheels otherwise they would loosen on their own from inertia while traveling down the road. In recent years we've learned that's not true so basically everything now is right hand thread.
