Question:
What is the difference between Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 18K Btu - Black - R32 product FR97TQ and FR27TQ?

Hey Greg, welcome back! The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump # FR27TQ comes with the AC unit, air distribution box (ADB), remote, and a wall thermostat. The # FR97TQ does not include the wall thermostat. Both are complete systems.
The wall thermostat is not required since the remote also acts as the thermostat, and it can be controlled via the ADB controls as well. If you have a furnace you can tie it into the wall thermostat, although there have been some compatibility issues. You can also continue to run the furnace off of your existing wall thermostat and run the Chill Cube separately with the remote.
Is this for the Grand Design or the Alliance? If it is the Alliance, and it comes with the standard Chill Cube without the heat pump, you can simply swap out the top units with # FR24TQ to upgrade to the heat pump model.

Awesome, Robin! Just what I needed to know. This is for my existing 2025 Grand Design Imagine 2500RL. Since the Chill Cube now has the heat pump, thinking of replacing my rear Furrion 15K BTU Chill HE with it. If it's powerful enough, may also remove my front 13.5K unit and save the weight. Very rarely ever use both even here in the deep south.
