Will SmartPlug RV Power Inlet Be Direct Replacement for 2026 Casita Independence Inlet

Will this be a direct replacement for the plug on the 2026 Casita Independence? Will the trim plate cover the existing hole? Are the screw locations the same? Thanks

Hey Richard! The SmartPlug RV Power Inlet # SM57FR is designed to replace an inlet with the industry standard mounting holes so more than likely it will fit without modification.
The holes are 2-7/16" apart on center, and the overall dimensions of the plate are 4-5/8" tall x 3-5/16" wide. You can compare this to what you have now and see if it matches. You will want to pick up a new cable like the SmartPlug Angled RV Power Cord - 30 Amp - 30' # SM22YB as well.
