What Kind Of Bolt Should Go At The Rear Of A Slipper Spring?

What is the correct bolt for a leaf spring slipper side? Same as eye bolt?

Hi Scott!

You are absolutely correct. The same standard bolt would be used on both sides of the leaf spring, even when it is a slipper spring. The only exception to that would be if it was a wet bolt, as that would just leak grease everywhere and wouldn't really serve any purpose.

The ABS Fasteners Spring-Eye Bolt with Locknut for Slipper Springs - 3-1/2" Long # 166079 will work perfectly.

What kind of trailer are you wanting to install this on? And are you switching to slipper springs from double eye?
