Question:
Does the kit contain shoulder bolts roadmaster part s: 350099-00, 350101-00 and 350103-00? The image on your site shows standard bolts, dont think it would be a good idea to have threads within the stack-up.

Hello Kevin,
Sorry for the delay, I had to reach out to Roadmaster on this one.
Great question, I get what you’re saying about not wanting threads in the stack-up.
Short answer, yes, the Replacement Car-Side Installation Hardware for Roadmaster Tow Defender Screen # RM67ZR does include the correct shoulder-style hardware for this application, even if it may look different from older part numbers like 350099-00, 350101-00, and 350103-00. This is the replacement hardware for the # RM-4750, or # RM-4700.
Roadmaster has made some small running changes to the hardware over time, like bolt style, coatings, or included components. The kit will come with the most up to date hardware they specify, and it’s designed to maintain proper clamping through the mounting stack.
So you won’t end up with threads sitting in a load-bearing area causing slop. The hardware is designed so the smooth shank supports the stack where it needs to, and the threads are positioned outside of that clamping surface.
What vehicle are you getting this set-up on? Getting things all geared up for the next adventure, where are you headed to this time?

4/22/26 '24 Wrangler '15 Tiffin 32SA Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Kevin, the new bolts supplied will work perfectly. 3 lenths will be supplied. Pick the best fit. The threads will fall correctly in the stack. The complete installation with the screen will go quickly and easily. I put mine on about 3 or 4 years ago. As I remember, the oly modification necessary was to drill out a hole in the brackets so the lock I used would fit. And, as far as I know, the only place you can get those exact bolts is in the package you see on line here. You have to buy the whole upgrade pak to get them. Dont misplace them. This is not an etrailer issue. Last month I replaced my tow bar with a new, same model. All equipment transferred smoothly. I have found 2 things that make working on my rig easier: quality materials and equipment and support from eTrailer! All eTrailer folks are great. Mathew recently walked me through my new tow bar. And Kate has been wonderful. She helped with my original installation. You can trust what eTrailer sells you and what they tell you.
