Replacing Lippert ABS With DeeMaxx Disc Brakes on 2025 Brinkley Z2900

Question:
Hi guys, I have a 2025 Brinkley Z2900 fifth wheel that came with Lippert’s TCS sytem and ABS electric drum setup that I would like to convert to DeeMaxx disc brakes. My question is specifically related to the wiring portion of the conversion in that I know I have to bypass the ABS part of the Lippert module as that doesn’t work correctly with an electric over hydraulic setup. I assume this is possible but uncertain on what I would need to do. Would you be able to help provide any clarity on that. I think there is a connection in the module in the king pin area that needs to be bypassed and there is an access panel near the passenger side wheels with wiring that needs to be bypassed as well but not sure beyond that. Thanks!

Hey Karl! This won't be too difficult to do. Basically you're going to bypass that whole system by disconnecting the control module and then you can install the DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit # DE66AR. You will disconnect the OEM power harness and remove the lines from the power harness and sensors. It won't hurt to leave the module attached, it won't be connected to anything.
Your power, ground, and brake output will run into the brake actuator. Then the hydraulic brake lines will be the only thing running back to the brakes. See the attached wiring diagrams.
Where are you headed with the Brinkley once you get the disc brakes installed?
