Availability Of 8" Long Keel Roller That Fits 3/4" Shaft

Updated 04/14/2026 | Published 04/08/2026

Question:

We are working on an older caulkens boat trailer. Looking now for a keel roller that is 8 inches long but has a three-quarter inch diameter shaft size. if you have three-quarter inch shaft size rollers will probably get additional items. Otherwise will need to retrofit.

Hello RJ, thanks for reaching out. We do have 8" long keel rollers like part # DL21712 but they are all for a 5/8" shaft. I'm sorry to say we don't have anything for a 3/4" shaft so it sounds like you'll have to retrofit.

We do have the 8" roller as a full assembly part # CE10403G which comes with the roller, shaft and bracket. That's what I would lean towards for an alternative. You'd just need to source some 1/2" or 7/16" fasteners.

I've included a picture with some dimensions for you if you want to check fitment for your trailer.

You think you can make that work?

What kind of boat are you trailering?
