Replacement Brakes and Hubs for Lippert Axle

Updated 03/31/2026 | Published 03/27/2026

Question:

I have a 2011 Palomino Sabre 32BHOK. It has Lippert axles on it and I need to replace all 4 brake assemblies, drum/hubs, and bearings. Im having an issue finding the right parts because everything I look at shows 6 lug hubs. I have 8 lug. Here is the full Lippert axle tag number. Please let me know what you find. Hey Adam! That axle uses the standard bearing combination for 6k axles. For a replacement hub and drum assembly you can use the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 7K Axles # AKHD-865-7-1-EZ-K.

This has # 25580 inner and # 14125A outer bearings with a 2.25" inner diameter grease seal. It also matches your 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern with 9/16" studs. Lippert was unable to identify the exact grease seal so you will need to measure to make sure this is the right one. If yours have a 2.125" inner diameter you can swap them out for the # RG06-090.

For replacement brakes you can use the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left/Right Hand - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA. These fit a 5 bolt brake flange and will fit with the replacement hub and drum assembly.
