In order for you to be able to use your Blue Ox Aventa Tow Bar BX7335 with the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit, part # 521190-1, you will need to use an adapter.
We carry the Blue Ox Tow Bar to Roadmaster Standard, EZ and XL Base Plates Adapter, part # BX88178 that will work for your towbar and the Roadmaster base plates.
Since you have a towbar, you may be familiar with towing a vehicle, but in case you are new to flat-towing I have attached some helpful articles that explains flat-towing and what is needed.
If you need safety chains I recommend part # RM-643. these are 68 inch coiled safety chains with a vinyl coating that helps keep from scratching the tow bar.
Since a supplemental braking system is now required in almost all of the states, and if you do not have a system, I recommend the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Proportional Braking System, part # RM-9400. This is a portable, wireless system with an easy installation that requires no splicing or cutting into the vehicle wiring.
If you are only occasionally towing your Honda Fit, the lights I recommend is the Magnetic LED Tow Lights, part # TLL21RK.
For a more permanent option I recommend the Roadmaster 6-Diode Universal Wiring Kit, part # 154-792-118158. When installing the wiring you will need a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to help identify the correct wiring circuits to splice into. I have attached a drawing that shows how the wiring needs to be installed you can check out.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the connections and helps prevent corrosion.
