Looking For Wet Bolt Suspension Upgrade Kit For 2022 Dutchmen Voltage Toy Hauler

Updated 03/30/2026 | Published 03/22/2026

Question:

I have a 2022 maybe 23 Dutchmen voltage toy hauler with triple axle and the cre3000 morryde suspension. I need to get the wet bolts to grease the suspension as it has just plain bolts now. I wanted to see if someone could help me make sure I get the right parts I see the upgrade kit with 2 1/4 long shackle straps but not sure if that means it’s just th bolts I need or if that’s more than I need. Thank you

Hey Justin, thanks for reaching out. Sounds like you are on the right track, and I can definitely help make sure you get the right thing.

The MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR86ZR you were looking at comes with 2-1/4" long shackles. The bolts are standard size so all you'll need to do it make sure the stock shackles are also 2-1/4" long hole-to-hole. As long as that dimension matches, you can be sure the kit will work for you. The MORryde kits are great. The wet bolts and HD shackles can easily last the life of the trailer with proper maintenance. It will definitely help smooth out the ride and quiet the suspension.

If you find your shackles are not the 2-1/4" long just let me know and I can make sure you get the right kit.

What kind of toys do you haul most? Do you find yourself towing on a lot of rough roads?

Are the shackles what looks like the two bolts on a plate?

@JustinS Yes that is the shackle link or shackle strap. They are measured center hole to center hole.

@JesseM perfect. Thank you I haul side by side and golf cart mostly. Not too rough but Louisiana roads can be a little harsh

@Justin Nice! Yea we are here in Missouri and our roads are the same way. Potholes and cracks everywhere. Adding wet bolts and even an upgraded equalizer will definitely help smooth things out.

We are full time traveling in our triple axle momentum and have logged over 50,000 miles on our new suspension with zero issues. Great piece of mind with the wet bolts and thick shackles!!

@Rick Nice! I love our National Parks but I've only been to a handful. Maybe one day I'll get to 44. But yea you are right - stock suspension is usually bare minimum. Glad to hear you are liking your MORryde upgrade kit. Thanks for sharing and safe travels!

Hey Jess I noticed my camper wobbling that seemed like the wind was bothering. I pulled it in the shop one day and looked at the shackles seen. They were starting to cut since I put these new shackles on this thing pulls like a dream. Before I had a lot of tire tire where

@Kevon Yes, those stock shackles are usually very basic, and the holes can and will oval out over time. We see that all the time here at our shop and the MORryde kits are always our go-to fix. They can easily last the life of the camper with proper maintenance. Glad to hear the HD shackles have been working out for you. Thanks for sharing!

Make sure you get the correct length wet bolts. My kit cam with wet bolts that were two short. Had a hard time finding some the correct length.
