Which trail hitch extender will work with this bike rack on a 2025 Land Rover Defender with tire mounted to the tailgate. I carry two 75lb e-bikes.

Hey Mike! The Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks # Y02483 you were looking at will work with the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR. This will extend the bike rack and bikes out far enough to clear the spare, and will allow you to access the rear using the swing away.
Keep in mind, the use of an extender reduces your hitch capacity by 50%. You will have to make sure it can still handle the combined weight of the bikes and bike rack at 204 lbs.

Adding to Robin's comment; using my 21' Palisade as an example the receiver hitch has a tongue weight limit of 750 lb, 50% reduced to 375lb. The combined weight of your Hollywood rack, 2 bikes & extender is 240lb so this would work on my SUV. Check the weight limit of the hitch on your 25' Defender, I am guessing it will also work.

It has been very practical . I use it on my Truck as well as RV. It creates enough room to open the lift gate or my RV back double doors. 5 ??????????
