Question:
Hello what’s the difference in all the redarch break controllers? I have a 2019 Tacoma trd sport I need a controller for. Thanks

Hi Rick!
I can definitely help with that and I have each broken down below:
REDARC Tow-Pro Liberty # RED72CR
-1 to 2 axles
-SwayStop helps when trailer starts to sway
REDARC Tow-Pro Elite # RED42CR
-1 to 3 axles
-Everyday and Off-Road modes
-SwayStop helps when trailer starts to sway
REDARC Tow-Pro Trail # RED64UR
-1 to 3 axles
-Everyday and Off-Road modes
-SwayStop helps when trailer starts to sway
-Off-Road oriented
REDARC Tow-Pro Link # RED57AR
-1 to 4 axles
-Plugs into USCAR connection
-Everyday and Off-Road modes
-SwayStop Plus helps when trailer starts to sway
-IP67-Rated
One thing to note about all of these options is that they are designed to be plug and play for a Tacoma that has the factory towing package. If you do not have that towing package, you will also need to grab the # ETBC7 upgrade kit and possibly the 4-flat # C56349 if you do not already have one. We don't have an option for the Link to be hardwired or hooked into the # ETBC7 yet, but hopefully soon.
So with all that being said, any one of these would work really well for your 2019 Toyota Tacoma and the Redarc Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-002 will make the Liberty and Elite mount really clean. Since the Link doesn't have a knob, you wouldn't need a panel. The only downside (if you can even call it that) with the Link is you have to download their app to set it up. Once you do that, you can use the remote though. You will just need to determine which is going to be the best for your needs.
On that note, what are you going to be towing?
