Looking For Grease Hub For 2004 Single Axle Marine Master Trailer

Updated 03/12/2026 | Published 03/08/2026

Question:

I have a 2004 single axle Marine Master trailer with disk brakes with oil bath hubs. Is there a way I can order spare grease hubs for it for emergencies without pulling the existing hubs? I have the trailer ID number also.

Hey Brad, thanks for reaching out. We should have a grease hub for you, but there is no way to use the trailer ID number or VIN to look up exactly what hubs you need. Trailer manufacturers just aren't that specific with their online literature, and there is no universal VIN database for trailers like there is for motor vehicles.

There are a few pieces of info that can help us narrow down what you need. If you can tell me the weight capacity of the axle, that will help. In most cases though the most surefire way of finding that out is to pull a hub and remove the bearings. We can try to get the number off each bearing but sometimes those can be hard to make out. In these cases, you can measure the ID of each bearing with a micrometer.

Get me that axle/bearing info and I'm happy to look into it and see if we have a hub for you. I'll also need to know your hub bolt pattern.

Are you needing just one hub for a spare? Or do you want to replace both?

I purchased four of these in 2024. They were easy to install and my trailer has been riding smoothly ever since.
