I’m pulling a gooseneck trailer with electric brakes with a 2016 kenworth with air brakes. I’m looking for a solution for a brake controller.

Expert Reply:
Hi Alan; the only brake controller for air brakes was discontinued so you will need to use a standard brake controller like the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR. This uses inertia and will tap into the stop light switch at the pedal. The main unit installs behind the dash and the control knob can go pretty much anywhere in your cab. However, if your Kenworth uses a 24V system you will need the Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR instead.
