Will the non tilting platform work with a 2022 Subaru Outback

Hey Leonard! Are you wanting to know if you will be able to open the rear hatch on your 2022 Outback? More than likely you can, the # TH25YE has that curved design at the rear with a decent amount of clearance. Because of that design, there isn’t a straight hitch-pin-to-edge measurement that lets us accurately predict hatch clearance.

We’ve tested it on several similar SUVs without hatch interference, but we haven’t had a 2022 Outback in for a physical test fit yet. If you want a guaranteed way to keep full hatch access, the tilting version # TH34FR98AB would be the safer choice. It’ll give you easier access to the rear cargo area even when the box is loaded up.
