What Size Hitch Pin Hole does the B&W Pintle Hook Mounting Plate for 2" Hitches Have?

Question:
Hi there, I see the 2 1/2inch pintle hitches have 9/16inch pin holes, does this 2inch have a 9/16inch dia hole or a 5/8. If this has a 5/8inch hole are there any 2inch receivers in stock with the 9/16inch pin?

Hello Paul,
The B&W Pintle Hook Mounting Plate for 2" Hitches - 9" Shank - 8 Hole - 16,000 lbs # BWPMHD14002 uses a standard 5/8" diameter hitch pin. That’s the normal pin size for a 2" x 2" receiver hitch.
I’m not aware of any 2" receiver mounted pintle plates that use a 9/16" hitch pin hole since 5/8" is the standard for 2" receivers.
What kind of set-up are you working with that requires it to have a 9/16" hitch pin hole?
