Question:
Hi I have a keystone hideout 178RB the axle manufacturer told me to use 171255TBG grease seal but you only have 171255TB. Can I use TB seals where a TBG is specified? And what does TB and TBG stand for? Thank you

Hey Alan! You can use the Grease Seal # RG06-050 (pair) or # 58846 (single) on your Keystone Hideout. These share the same dimensions as the 171255TBG and 171255TB. The TB means low pressure and the G is just an extra letter related to the manufacturer/branding. These are all standard size grease seals which will work on your 3,500 lb axles.
Are you replacing grease seals after repacking your bearings?
