Replacement RV Microwave Recommendation for High Point in 2024 Jayco 225 MLS

Question:
I have a 2024 Jayco 225 MLS which came with a High Pointe Microwave Model Number EM925ACW. Is this microwave/air fryer/convection oven suitable to swap out with my current microwave? Does this one need to be vented to the outside of the camper?

Hey John, yes the Furrion Built-In RV Convection Microwave and Air Fryer w/ Trim Kit # FR77AD that you referenced would work great as a replacement for the High Pointe you have now as this is a standard dimension microwave basically exact same dimensions as what you have now. This microwave does not require venting to outside of RV either. Did you High Pointe fail and that's why you are replacing it?

I just installed this in my 2000 Chinook Concourse and it was a simple plug and play installation after removing the original 25 year old microwave. Thrilled to have the multi purpose replacement as I will remove the oven from teh Chinook as well to add storage space

Hello John, Regarding the furion, as a first time user of this 3 way built in unit, it was a quick install. The watt consumption is approx 1400 watts. Our original microwave was a 1.3 cf as the furion is a 1.1cf and it served us real well. We used it often for our month long camping trip with no problem. So far we are happy with this upgrade.
