I have different trailers with different ball sizes. Will this work with both without swapping the whole setup?

Yes you can, Denise.

The etrailer clamp-on bucket hitch receiver # e75ZV accepts any 2 inch shank ball mount, so you can swap ball mounts as needed based on your trailer’s coupler size.

If you want to avoid changing balls and ball mounts, the adjustable ball mount # e66PR is a great match for this receiver since it includes both 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch balls in one unit. That makes switching between trailers quick and painless. What kinds of trailers are you moving most often?

Would this still work if I only ever use one trailer with a 2" coupler?

@Paul Absolutely, Paul. In that case, a standard 2" ball mount works just fine with the clamp-on bucket hitch receiver # e75ZV. The adjustable ball mount just adds flexibility if you end up with more trailers down the road. If you don't have a fixed ball mount in your possession yet, I'd just go with something simple like the etrailer pre-torqued 2" ball mount for 2" hitches # e67DR.
