Alex, you’re on the right track - this works on both tractor and skid steer buckets as long as the bucket edge thickness is 1-1/2" or less. There’s no welding or drilling involved, so it’s a solid option if you don’t want to modify your bucket permanently.

Once it’s clamped on, the etrailer clamp-on bucket hitch receiver # e75ZV accepts any standard 2" shank ball mount, so you can match the hitch ball to the trailer you’re moving.
