Question:
Having trouble finding the correct wheel bearing seals for my 1986 Coleman Columbia popup trailer. Spindle measurements are 1.065 for both the inner and outer bearings. I am using inner and outer Timken bearings KL44659 My bearing races both inner and outer are L44610. These bearings have been running for 20 years and are working well. The seal is my issue. The seal surface of the spindle is 1.3740 according to the micrometer The outer diameter of the hub appears to be 1.9655. I dont want to try to pull the seal until I can find suitable replacements so I did my best with the micrometer. Can you recommend the correct part number for the seals?

Hey Matt, thanks for the measurements. The Spindle Grease Seal Set item # BB60001 includes two seals that have a inner diameter of 1.375" and an outer diameter of 1.980". This set of seals are going to be the closest option we have to your dimensions.

The KL44659 bearing# is not a valid number. The L44610 is a valid number for a cup that fits into the wheel hub. It has an od of 1.980 so the seal with a 1.980 od should fit.
