Question:
I am having the Air Force One 2nd Vehicle kit installed on my 2025 Ford Maverick. Is there guidance install instructions or video on how to add the Demco Air Pressure Regulator which I believe is recommended for this vehicle? Thank you!

Hey Michael, actually the Demco Stay IN Play DUO Inline Air Pressure Regulator # DM88UV is for the install of the DUO Stay In Play on a Ford Maverick like yours and not for the Air Force One as odd as that may sound since the AFO is for air brakes and the DUO is for hydraulic but it is the case. So you do not need to install the regulator since you are installing the part # SM99209.
With that said I did attach the instructions for the valve that I took from the DUO's instructions for you to check out.

Hey Michael, I received a note from etrailer asking for my thoughts on the AirForceOne second vehicle kit. I chose the second vehicle kit, as my Newell Coach already has an air brake coupler by the hitch, so I fortunately didn’t need to set up the motorhome for the air brake addition. I’m assuming your coach has the same air brake setup, or this is indeed a “second vehicle”. I did the install myself. It was pretty straightforward, and the instructions were clear and concise. 2012 Ram 1500 didn’t require any sort of air pressure regulator, so that might be a Maverick thing. The unit works well. At each stop, I go around and touch the truck brake rotors; they are warm from the recent stop which tells me they are working, and not dragging. The only additional thing I needed to purchase was the jumper air line, I had to reconfigure the coach end to fit the coupler. Happy camping! I’d be curious to hear how the Maverick tows, and how comfortable it would be for a 6’5” guy. Dave S
