Is There a Glass Panel Option for the Kuat Ibex Overland Truck Bed Rack Panel

Hello. I’m trying to decide between an RSI SmartCap, Armourcap, and this IBEX system for my Tacoma. It looks like all the panels are solid aluminum. Does Kuat have glass panels available for visibility through my rear window? Thanks.

Hey, Lawrence!
That's a really good question. I browsed through Kuat's accessories they have for their IBEX, part # KU39SR for your Tacoma, and they don't have any glass or other see through panels you could in the IBEX. I can understand wanting the ability to do so so that you can still use your rear view mirror. Even with a backup camera, it's nice to still be able to look back and see what's behind you. I personally still look back.
Kuat does have side MOLLE panels like part # KU79SR for the sides but right now the only option they have is what the IBEX comes with that is opaque. It's possible that they could come out with something later down the road but as of right now
What kind of gear are you planning on carrying with your Tacoma?

Thank you Gwendolyn. It’s mostly snowsports and mountain biking gear. I’m covered in the latter with a Lolo rack. It’s just I have a 5’ bed, so now that kids are getting bigger, it’s harder to fit all their skis and boards under thr factory tonneau if I put them diagonal. Thats why I was thinking of going for more height with a canopy. I really like Kuat and the ibex system looks cool. But I do want the rear window. I think all roads are pointing to SmartCap. Thanks again!
