Replacement Drill Operated Jack for 2023 NEO NAM Trailer

Updated 01/15/2026 | Published 01/13/2026

Question:

I’d like to replace the trailer jack on my 2023 Neo Nam trailer so I can operate with a drill. The when fully retracted needs to be very short, about 8”. Right now it’s a triangle base mount with top wind. Does triangle or round base matter? Thanks, Jan

Hi Jan; we don't have any that are 8" when retracted so the Trailer Valet JXC Trailer Jack # TV54FR you looked at is going to be the best option.

The distance from the bottom of the bracket to the bottom of the foot retracted is 9-1/8". I went ahead and attached the full dimensions below for your reference. The bracket style won't matter, round or triangle will fit. They pretty much all have the same universal A-frame bolt pattern.

How far does your existing jack hang down from the bracket?

I see some lack luster reviews here and I don't know why. I love my valet Jack it is easy to use, my 18volt dril makes this jack go fast. I can put my jack from all the way up to down on the ground in a couple seconds. I have no regrets what so ever, I have them on 2 trailers. On one of my trucks I got a extended hitch to clear my tail gate, it was a tad long so when i got the chance I had a new hole drilled In the hitch so I could just clear the tail gate with least amout of my hitch hanging out. Everything is perfect. I got my parts from etrailer been using them from time to time for years have not been let down by these guys.

Just about 8” with the bottom plate.

I am happy with the Trailer Valet but I did have a few mounting challenges. I installed it on a Nucamp TAB 320. Regarding the mount, the circular plate bolt pattern was the same but the circle was bigger than my original triangle flange. It interfered with some welded stud heads that were part of the trailer A frame area. I had to add a 1/2” thick trapezoid shaped spacer plate to raise the mounting surface and clear over the welds.

Have a utility trailer with the same jack mount that you describe. However, height issue was not as critical to me, so I can't really address that. Have had the standard crank jack (both top and side mount), and electrically operated. To me, the drill operated jack has them all beat by far. Easy installation,. operation and maintenance. Have had it for several years and it has yet to give me any trouble. Even if one should lose the special drill bit, they provide a hand crank.
