Can SumoSprings Kit Improve Ride Quality of 2024 Ram 2500 Unloaded

Question:

I tow a 5th wheel with my 2024 RAM 2500 gas. The ride towing is fine, but the ride unloaded is bad. I had put Sumos on a motorhome years ago and they really helped. Would Sumos help the unloaded ride quality on my RAM 2500? Thanks, Dave

Hey David, that's going to depend on the issue you are having. Does it feel like the suspension is so stiff that the suspension pushes back and tops out hard and it feels like a jarring feeling? Or does the suspension compress down harshly and it's not on the return that you feel the roughness?

If it's the topping out feeling thats harsh then I would not recommend a SumoSprings kit but the harshness is on the way down then a SumoSpring kit like the Rebel # SS64VR would help.

Usually the topping out harshness is very prominent on 3500 trucks but they are making the 2500 trucks even more and more like the 3500 trucks so I could see the issue being there as well.

Thanks JC. We went from a RAM 1500 to a 2500 to tow a 5th wheel. The ride on the 1500 was superb, but the new RAM 2500 is extremely stiff when unloaded. So I think we are going with Sumos to smooth that out. My previous experience with Sumos has been great. I put them on 2 motor homes & they improved the ride considerably. Thanks. Dave Caswell
