I sure can Russel. To install a brake controller in your 2008 Newmar Ventana Motorhome, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness item # RED52VR. This is a proportional brake controller that automatically adjusts your trailer's braking based on the deceleration of your motorhome. The Tow-Pro Liberty has a unique installation method where the main unit is concealed behind your dash and the only part visible is the control knob.

The included universal wiring harness is what you'll need to get the Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED52VR installed. You may also need a few feet of the 10 Gauge Wire - Blue Primary - Per Foot item # 10-1-1. This wire is what carries the brake controller signal to your motorhomes 7-way. I did not see an option for a custom harness for your Newmar motorhome.

I attached a diagram below that will show you how to install the Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED52VR.

What kind of trailer are you planning on pulling?

I installed this controller in my 2019 Chevy Express 3500.We tow a 36 foot 9200 pound RV.I swear the more the controller get used controlling the trailer brakes the better it gets.If the controller is installed and correctly configured which is pretty easy you will not be disappointed. I would purchase this brake controller again.
