What Replacement Gas Struts Do I Need For a 27" Master Lift

Can you cross reference this gas strut? I know it’s 27” long but I don’t know the strength. master lift 004285 0178N 122/16 A 15 I can send a pic if you need it.

Hey, Chuck!
Based off the number you gave me I wasn't really finding anything that told me how much weight yours is rated for. I was able to find some general information about gas struts. With other brands when a number appears before an "N", like the number "0178N" in what you gave me, would stand for how many Newtons the strut is rated for. Before we get in the weeds I'm just going to say I searched what that meant in this situation.
If Master Lift uses the same theory as other brands, your strut would be 40lbs of force. We don't have a 27" but I do have a 26" strut with a an 8mm ball send/socket, part # 3691878-40 and one with a 10mm ball end/socket, part # 3691870-40.
I know its kind of a lengthy answer but I wanted to share the information I found since I can't guarantee the struts I mentioned will be what you need.
