Question:

I would like confirmation that I have selected the best weight distribution hitch for my truck and travel trailer. I selected the Equal-i-zer part no. EQ37140ET My tow vehicle is a GMC Sierra 2500HD Diesel w/3500 springs and off road and max towing package My travel trailer is a Flagstaff Classic FLT 826MBR. GVW loaded 9000 - 10000 lbs. Tongue weight 1000 lbs. Overall length 30 ft.

Hey Larry, yes the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution system part # EQ37140ET would be the best WD system for your truck and trailer. The Equal-i-zer brand of WD systems is basically the gold standard and known to be the best performing and most reliable while also not being overly complicated. The tongue weight rating of this system also matches what your Flagstaff Classic FLT 826MBR would have and would give you a little room to grow too so that checks out as well. Have you used WD before or is this first system?

Hey Larry, how did the Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch end up working with your Sierra and Flagstaff trailer? Your feedback could really help others pairing a similar setup.

@JamesonC. I went with the B&W Continuum WDH instead. I picked up my Flagstaff Classic Friday. I'm still adjusting the hitch. Haven't reached the "sweet spot" yet.
