Does Gen-Y Nomad 5th Wheel To Gooseneck Pin Box Have Same Height Setting As Lippert 1621?

Question:
My current pin box has a few height adjustment holes where I can raise/lower the box depending on my bed height. If I go with the Nomad, does it still allow that, or am I locked into one position? I have the 1621 pin box

Ron, yes, the Nomad still uses the same bolt-hole rows your factory pin box uses, so whatever height options your original 1621/1116/1716/Rhino box had will be the same ones available with the Nomad # GY57ND.
It’s a bolt-for-bolt replacement, so Gen-Y didn’t change the height geometry - they just swapped the kingpin for the gooseneck coupler.
You’ll still want the trailer riding level, so once it’s on, check your stance and adjust if needed.
