Does this cover work on a 8 foot bed I have a Chevy 2500 it is a 2024 and I want it so I can hide my fifth wheel plate?

Hey Matthew. The Pace Edwards JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover item # PE26CV, you were looking at is for the 6-3/4' bed models of the 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500. Since you have the 8' bed you'll need the Pace Edwards JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover item # PE54UV. This is the same model and style of cover it's just longer.
How far below the top of the bed rails is the top of your 5th wheel hitch?
