Question:

Can I tow a small fishing boat with my 2024 Outback Premium if I install this hitch? I didnt' get a factory tow package from dealer. I think it was offered but was too pricey.

You sure can, Mark - as long as you stay within your Outback’s tow limits. Your 2024 Outback Premium has the 2.5L engine, so it’s rated to tow up to 2,700 lbs, while the TowSmart # TS34ZR itself is rated higher at 4,500 lbs GTW and 675 lbs TW. That gives you plenty of safety margin. I do recommend double checking your owner's manual to verify the ratings I found for your vehicle.

Just pair the hitch with the T-One Wiring Harness # 118467 to power your trailer lights, and the Ball Mount Kit # 989891 for the 2 inch or 1-7/8 inch hitch balls depending on your boat trailer coupler.
