Does the Low Saddle Adapter Make the Thule RideAlong Seat Higher

Question:
Will this put the child bike seat up higher? The mount that came with the bike seat sits too close to the wheel. From the description I am unsure if this adaptor will allow the seat to ride higher. I understand it will ride further back from the saddle.

If anything, the low saddle adapter # TH100300 will make the Thule RideAlong seat lower. Its primary function is to move the seat back a little but because it is designed for low seats and smaller frame bikes it is meant to still provide the same general lines at the original RideAlong seat.
