We do indeed have a front hitch for your 2000 Chevy 3500 pick up. For that, you will want the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 31042. This has a line pull of 9,000 lbs, a vertical load of 500 lbs, and a gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs, so it's very capable.
