What CRE3000 Equalizers and Upgraded Shackle Strap Kit will I Need for My 2025 Grand Design Imagine?

Have a 2025 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22MLE and want to upgrade my tandem leaf spring suspension with the Cree 3000. It appears to be a 35 and needed the shackles and wet bolts. Looking for the correct products for this application. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello Bob,
Congrats on the new 2025 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22MLE! Where did you take it for its first trip to break it in?
We do not have a database that tells us what is installed on each trailer, man oh man, what a long list that would be! So, you’ll need to check a couple of measurements to make sure you’re getting the right parts for your setup.
When it comes to the CRE3000s, I really wish they would leave that wheelbase off there. We’ve found that it’s not the most accurate way to ensure you’re getting the correct ones. The best way is to measure from bottom hole to bottom hole and match it to whichever one is closest to what you’re replacing. I’ve attached images of the hole spacing on both the # MR27ZR and # MR87ZR.
You’ll also want to confirm that your shackle straps are 2 1/4" from center hole to center hole. In that case, you’ll want the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR. The 3 1/8" are becoming less and less common, but just in case that is the measurement you get, you will want # MR76ZR.
Were you looking to replace the leaf springs as well? If so, I’ll need to know the capacity of your axles and the eye-to-eye measurement of your springs when unloaded. This will require you to jack up the trailer to take the weight off so you can get the most accurate measurement.

Hey Bob, were you able to get the right measurements for your Grand Design’s suspension setup? Once you confirmed those, did the CRE3000 and shackle kit options line up with what you needed? Your update could make it easier for others upgrading the same trailer.
