Looking For A Lift Kit On Mu 2022 Forest River Rpod 192

Question:

Im looking for a lift kit for a 2022 Forest River Rpod 192. The VIN for the RPOD is 4X4TRPU14NB028100 and the axle info is: Serial S007547748 Item 77402 Capacity 4400 Mfg Date 09/09/21 Thank you.

Hey Bill,

We have a single axle over under kit from Dexter that will provide a 5" lift # K71-384-00. This kit is designed for axles with a 2-3/8" diameter and moves the leaf springs from below the axle to above it providing that lift. I am not sure what diameter your axle is so you will need to measure it to make sure this will work for you.

Hey Bill, were you able to measure the axle on your Rpod to see if the Dexter over-under kit fit? Once you confirm the diameter, that’ll show if this lift kit is the right match. Let me know what you find—I'm here if you need a hand narrowing it down.

@NickS, this is a Lippert Diamond Torsion axle. The Customer part number is LCl35H-DTBSA-89.5-59.25-I0-22D-LPl8-l-655-18PT-CAP 4400 and the serial number is S007547748. Measuring it is tricky. The upper part of the axle is an inverted V and its legs are 2.5 inches long. The bottom part of the axle seems rounded.

@BillB I reached out to Lippert with that information and they advised that they do no recommend a lift kit with that axel due to the fact that these kits put additional stress into the chassis and can cause other issues, so we no longer support these kits. I would recommend reaching out to Lippert directly for a lift kit.
