Hey Kevin, thanks for reaching out!
The Eva-Dry Electric Large Dehumidifier w/ Humidistat # ED44FR will shut off in a power outage situation, and you'll need to power it back on manually.
If you go with the larger Eva-Dry Large Desiccant Dehumidifier # ED64FR, this one DOES have the auto-restart feature so you can set it and then only worry about it when you need to empty it. The last thing anyone wants to do after a power outage is go around and make sure everything is back up and running (let alone make sure all of the clocks are back on the right time.
Does the Desiccant seem like something you'd be interested in?
