When your compartment lock is worn or missing, this replacement secures the door so it stays closed on the road. It includes straight and offset cams so you can match the fit without modifying the door.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at an RV designer ACE compartment Lock replacement 7/8 inches. So folks, this lock size is a 7/8 inch lock. Fits door (indistinct) up to 5/8 of an inch. So this is a great option if you need to secure your storage doors, that way they can stay closed and protected.
So maybe you got one that just stopped working, or you had to get drilled out for whatever reason, you lost the keys, who knows But this is a replacement. These do use the barrel style keys, which I personally like. They're a lot harder to pick and a lot more secure in my opinion. You do get the straight and the offset option here as well with the cams to match whatever varying compartments and thicknesses that you need as far as, you know, they're up to that 5/8-inch and no bigger. So again, depending on which one you need, you just simply screw that on and then bolt it in place down there, and then the main nut here gets tightened up inside the door, and then you're ready to go.
Well, that's gonna wrap up our look together, folks. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.

The only thing I don’t like is they have to be in the locked position to get the key out.
Exactly what I needed
