Question:
Hello, I have a pickup box camper that extends just a little behind the bed of my 2016 longbox f 350, I was Curious if I could use this adapter to put in my reciever to get a small amount of extension for pulling my boat behind my pickup when we have the camper loaded? Thank you

Hey Jeremy. I have a solution for you but the etrailer item # e85ZV is not going to work. It's a high low adapter that's only rated for flat towing setups. You can't pull a trailer with it.
Instead you'll want to use the Gen-Y Hitch Receiver Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches item # GY89SR. This one is rated for pulling up to a 10,000 lbs trailer. It's a bit longer at 14" but it's also going to fit a 2" receiver.
This shouldn't be an issue with your F-350 but please note that all hitch extenders are going to reduce your truck's hitch capacities by 50%.
What size hitch does your F-350 have and how far past your hitch pin hole is the far end of your camper? Also how heavy is your boat trailer?
You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.

My f-350 has a 2.5” reciever hitch factory with the spacer that necks it down to 2”, I couldn’t find a 2.5” extension hitch, but I would guess it would have a higher weight rating/be stronger. The camper sticks 10 inches past the hitch pin hole on the reciever hitch. The boat/trailer combo is around 5,500 total if completely loaded with gear and that’s the max weight of the boat trailer.
