Will this work on a 2022 F550 cab and chassis with DRW? Thanks.

Hey Mark, I have a front hitch that will fit, however the EcoHitch item # EH54QR will not. It only fits the 2023 - 2027 Ford F-550 Cab and Chassis'.

I just checked with EcoHitch and for a 2022 Ford F-550 Cab and Chassis you'll need their Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver item # EH83GR.

What do you plan on using your front hitch for?

Thanks Jerred. I will use it to carry either a bicycle carrier, or a carry rack for things like extra water or firewood when I host campouts.

@Mark You're welcome! The item # EH83GR has a 1,000 lbs vertical load limit (tongue weight for the front) so you'll be able to haul plenty of firewood. I do recommend checking to see if your bike rack is rated for a front hitch. There are few that actually are. If you need a recommendation on one just let me know what bike/s you have.

@JerredH Thanks for checking. My bike carrier will accommodate two 80 pound electric bikes and is rated for front, rear, rear of trailer, or rear of towed vehicle. Yes, there aren't that many out there that will do this.
