Looking For Steps For My 5th Wheel, Entry Height 36" And Door Width Is 34"

Question:

Is this the correct step for my 2011 Cougar 5th wheel? Distance to threshold at level is 36 inches and door opening is 24 inches flange to flange. Thanks

Hey Tom,

Based off of those measurements you took the MORyde Steps # MR48RR look like the right ones for you! You are right in the sweet spot in terms of dimensions needed for these to fit so these are going to be a great choice. The steps come with all hardware needed to install and I went ahead and attached the installation instructions for you below to take a look at.

I am a big fan of the Cougar 5th wheels, are you able to take it out often?

We recently bought it and are trying to make it how we want it. A lot different than our Dolphin motorhome but I'm sure we'll enjoy it. I grew a tad bit impatient and ordered the steps this morning before I got your message but thanks for reassuring me that I chose the right one. I had to unscrew my screen door and move it up about 3/16s of an inch to get the proper clearance. Thanks

@TomB I am glad I was able to reassure you, but it looks like you had it already figured out! I do like those Dolphin motorhomes as well but I am sure with time you will grow to love the Cougar, you just have to make it your own!
