Would Vault Grease Cap work with 3,500 lb etrailer Hub

Question:
Hello, I’m looking to replace the hubs and bearings on my Nitro boat trailer with tandem 3500 axles. The current hubs are Vortex 81022. I believe the following hubs will fit: https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hubs-and-Drums/etrailer/AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K.html My question is, will the original Vortex grease caps fit on the hubs that I linked above or do I have to use the caps that they come with? Thanks!

Hey Chris, the Vortex grease caps are threaded so what you have would not work with the replacement hub/drum part # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K that you referenced. You would need to use the included cap that comes with this hub.
