Will Redarc Tow-Pro Link Work On 2026 BMW X5 X40i With Factory Tow Package

Re: RED57AR Your description says for BMW X5 without factory towing. Any reason that it wont work with factory tow package? I tried to contact the Redarc rep for my region in the US but he just taked about the Elite and totally dismissed my question regarding the Link. Do you feel like the February date for shipping is realistic? I prefer to use Redarc vs Curt Echo inline but need something by early March at the latest. 2026 BMW X5 X40i with factory tow package Thank You

Hello Greg, thanks for reaching out. So the reason for that is the Redarc Tow-Pro Link Bluetooth Brake Controller is still in a pre-order phase. We only have one SKU and it is for the controller and universal harness. Once the controller becomes available, we will be adding a bunch more part numbers to include vehicles with or without factory tow packages. So it will be available to use with the tow package in your BMW eventually, but it might still be a while until we add those SKUs.

Right now we are expecting the Tow-Pro Link to be available in about 4 months. This is our most accurate estimate, but it is purely an estimate and is subject to change.
