How Do I Determine What Crossmember And How Many To Install On My 2025 Grand Design

Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 10/07/2025

Question:

I have a 2025 Grand Design Momentum 320g with the CRE3000 suspension equalizers and I was looking at adding the x-factor crossmembers for added frame strength, but I am not sure exactly which ones are the right ones for my RV. Do I need to install 4, one at each end of the leaf springs and one in the center axel at the CRE3000, or can I just do the two in the center on the CRE3000s? Can you advise? thanks

Hey Rick,

MORyde does recommend going with all 3 crossmembers, one in the front, rear, and middle. The MORyde X-factor # MR33WR is for standard frame hangers with that CRE suspension system like yours. If you only want to install one crossmember to start you want to install this on the center hanger where the equalizers are. I have attached a video of us actually installing this on an older 2020 Grand Design so you can get a better idea as to what it all entails.

Have you been able to get out much in that Grand Design yet?

Hey Rick, how did things go adding the X-Factor crossmembers to your Grand Design? Did the setup with all three crossmembers give you the frame strength you were hoping for? Your update could make it easier for others working on the same suspension system.
